‘Influence Lines of Structures’- Lecture Sheet

Influence line definition:  An influence line is mostly used to clarify the moving load over any structure. Generally it is a graphical representation of how the structure will act according to the various position of a unit load and by multiplying the unit load value with the possible upcoming load original behavior of the structure  may be found.

Here are some general guidelines on how to draw influence lines of different structures like beams, roof truss, bridge truss and frames etc.
